Enterprise

for many years, decades really – Star Trek has captured – not what is – but what could be. From the original Star Trek – the idea that people of varying races, genders could work together – shoulder to shoulder. Afterwards the thought of discovery in itself – and that no matter what the human race found ways to overcome against the odds.
One series that I never saw before was Star Trek Enterprise. And while the overall theme is pretty much alongside it’s roots. The theme song – is magnificient.
No it is not a grandose song like you would find on the West Wing, not even sweeping instrumental themes like previous Star Trek’s. No this simple tune is by Diane Warren and sung by Russell Watson. And while the theme itself is fantastic. The song with the opening credits… Astounding.
Enjoy.
